I can't speak for other septic services that are provided here in the Greenville area, but I called multiple companies to get a septic install scheduled and it came down to two options and Matt won me over even though he quoted a little higher than the others but his demeanor, and ability to talk through my issues wasn't paralleled by anyone else I talked to and that was a foreshadowing of how he would deal with us in the future. Also, I would prefer to have it done right the first time and paying a little extra for that security in my opinion is worth it.

Response from the owner

Thank you for the kind words Jeremiah. It was a pleasure working for you.

Matt and Joe are top notch. Matt promptly came and looked at my situation, gave me a general overview of where to start, cost, etc. He was there when he said he would be there, and he and Joe worked hard and steady, until the job was completed. I was well informed throughout the entire process and completely satisfied with the results. Highly recommend American Drainfield.

Response from the owner

Around Greenville, the main drain-field limit is slow water movement: water leaves the soil too slowly for a conventional field to keep up. Site conditions on any one lot can differ from the map. See the Greenville city page for the full soil profile.

Before You Call

For a property purchase, a homeowner can schedule the septic inspection before closing rather than waiting for a problem to appear. One useful phone question is what parts of the system the inspection will cover.
