Septic Services in Millwood

Quoted from the website of East Coast Septic, read 15 Sept 2026.

Alongside pumping, the company takes on tank repairs, cleanings and new system installations. Around Millwood the mapped ground is mostly rated very limited for drain fields, with water leaving the soil too slowly on about 68 percent of rated ground, so a new field's layout starts with how the lot itself drains.

Dan was very responsive to my concerns, helpful with the permits, and did a quality and efficient job with my septic field repair. His price was very fair.

East Coast was absolutely incredible! Starting with my initial call, before we closed on our house, they were understanding, accommodating, helpful and gave us the best price for our repair. Once the work began they explained everything to me, they were prompt, and left my yard good as new! We are very pleased and highly recommend this company.

Had our leech fields repaired, they leaked through our steps. They came did the repair and again it leaked through our steps, came back out removed a portion of the infiltrators and leak was gone. However since then in the 3 years of having them repaired we have flooded 3 times causing damage to our house and appliances which had to be replaced, we average about 3 months between pumping out our septic. Called asked them to come make this right and they said get an engineer, we did. They disregarded and dismissed everything the engineer had to say.

Laura E. K. Parkview Heights · Just now · When I called East Coast Septic, co-owner Dan quickly set up a time to come to our Mount Kisco house to assess our non-emergency septic situation a day or two after my call. After he walked the property, he advised us to sit tight with our aging-but-still-working septic situation. I appreciated his common-sense advice to live with our old system, rather than immediately sign us up for a big overhaul. After 40 years in this biz, Dan has seen it all and knows which local town permits are needed and how best to work around large trees in the yard.

They showed up on time. They resolved my issue very quickly. They are small family owned company who knows how to get the job done.

From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.

Co-owner Dan comes up by name in review after review. Jeff credits him with a "quality and efficient job" on a septic field repair plus help with the permits, and Laura writes that he came out a day or two after her call, then told her to keep her aging but working system rather than sign up for a big overhaul. Customers also name the rest of the crew, with Jamie helping on a tank change and Jim on a new tank and drain fields, and they mention arrival inside the scheduled window and installations finished within a few days. Several describe a small family-run shop that shows up on time and explains each step as it goes.

Before You Call

When drains slow or the yard turns soggy, pumping is sometimes all a system needs and sometimes the first step before a repair. East Coast Septic offers both, so the useful question on the phone is which one your symptoms point to.
