County Septic Tank Co in Hawthorne, NY
About County Septic Tank Co
From the website of County Septic Tank Co, read 15 Sept 2026. It describes what the company says it offers, not independent verification.
County Septic Tank Co pumps septic tanks from its home base in Hawthorne, and the family behind the business has more than 70 years in the septic industry. A backed-up system does not always mean a tank that needs emptying. The crew goes out on emergency pumping calls, and many times the real culprit turns out to be a plugged inlet baffle.
Septic Services in Hawthorne
Quoted from the website of County Septic Tank Co, read 15 Sept 2026.
Beyond pumping, the company installs new septic systems, repairs failing ones and offers septic system consultations. Its inspection work covers real estate transactions, with dye testing and full evaluations when a house changes hands. Soil surveys around Hawthorne rate 58.5 percent of rated ground not limited for septic drain fields, and where ground is limited the most common reason is a water table that sits too high, figures that describe mapped ground rather than any single yard.
Inlet Baffle
Backing up ... just uncover the lid and check to see if the baffle is plugged, many times we have been called out for emergency pumping, only to find that it is the inlet baffle plugged up.
