Chris is very knowledgeable, dependable, quick and does great work. He explained to us our options of using the 1000 gallon septic already on site or adding a new one. It was cheaper to add a new larger 1500 gallon system and use the 1000 gallon for our detached garage instead. He also helped us with running a water line from the lot line to our house. Everything passed inspections the first time. He was also kind enough to give us advice on questions we had about other issues we were having with our house build.

These guys are the BEST, Chris Kent clearly goes far and beyond all expectations as his guys ( Logan & Hunter ) worked diligently with precision punching holes and accomplishing hundreds of feet of multiple level trenching across multiple acres of our lot. Everyone on his crew showed clear caring and concern for the product they were producing. Wouldn't ever use anyone other than "EARTH EXCALVATION" for my Excavating needs.

Chris and his team were great to work with. He answered every question I had, and charged a lot less than I expected. He made everything as simple as possible. He was so easy to work with that by the time the job was done, I wanted to invite him and his family for a BBQ or something because it felt like working with an old friend who cared about my project. He worked with me on everything and took so much stress off my shoulders. I would hire him and his team again in a heartbeat.

I called Chris around 6 a.m. asking to please come bury my horse of 31 years. He was wonderful...even though they're booked up on jobs for two months he took the time to help out a broken hearted woman who'd just lost her horse. Thank you so very much, Chris!

Poor communication, doesn't answer questions, Becomes defensive when asked basic information and conducts themselves like a child verses the head of a business. We had already decided to pay substantially more to a competitor prior to being "fired as a client" for simply asking if the test they will be performing meets county standards. Per the owner they are too busy to offer basic human interaction. I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

    Response from the owner

My best friend died and I am having a hard time dealing with that and work right now. That’s why I fired you and your wife. I don’t have the time for you two. Your review is petty and selfish and exactly the opposite of who my friend was. Thanks to google I can always look back on your review and think about how Randy would have handled this better than I am right now. Have a nice life.

Before You Call

For a new system, the central decision is whether to bring Earth Excavating in from site investigation through complete installation. One useful phone question is how the engineering and permitting steps would work for the property.
