I've lived in my home 19 years, always using another company. When I called Zaring, they had a record of working on my septic tank 26 years ago (!) and knew about a filter that needed to be replaced that the company I'd been using had never found, never serviced, never knew about! So glad I found this out before major problems were caused by it. I'll stay with Zaring from now on.

We had an issue with a septic system that Zaring didn't originally install, but had serviced in the past. Jennifer with Zaring went above and beyond for us, scanning old service records and even contacting the county to get the original install file to help solve an issue we were having. I am not one to write many reviews, but I had a very disappointing experience with this company. We are in the process of planning a pool project and need to know where all of our septic lines run so we can finalize the location of the pool / concrete etc. We paid almost $300 for two men to come to our home and show us the location of our septic tank and the lateral lines. The two men who came to the house seemed annoyed / bothered to do the job.

Zaring Septic Service, Inc. was contacted on March 3, 2026, to locate and mark the first lateral line in preparation for a pool installation. At that time, the customer was provided with quotes for a service run, labor, materials (flags), and pumping rates. The customer informed the office staff taking the ticket that they would wait on pumping the Tank. On March 11, 2026, our technicians arrived onsite and located the septic tank, which was under the trampoline. The tank was marked with four flags per the homeowner's request. Technicians also identified and showed the homeowner the end of the first lateral line and the remaining lines. The total charge for this service was $177.40. We understand there may have been some questions during the visit regarding the cost of a new septic system and the possibility of pumping the tank at that time. Our technicians directed the customer to contact the office so we could provide the most accurate and complete information. For new system estimates, a site evaluation by the Health Department is required first; once that is completed, we will return to provide an estimate at no additional charge. For pumping services, we do ask that these be scheduled through the office. Zaring Septic Service, Inc. takes pride in providing excellent customer service and making every effort to communicate clearly and accurately with our customers.
