About Eberle septic

From the website of Eberle septic, read 15 Sept 2026. It describes what the company says it offers, not independent verification.

Eberle Septic pumps out septic tanks in San Antonio and installs new systems, repairs existing ones and performs septic inspections. Their site says septic pumping in the San Antonio area is the company's specialty, backed by more than 200 jobs over 10 or more years in the trade. The inspection work has a real estate side, which matters when a house is changing hands and the tank needs a look before closing. A crew that pumps and inspects can cover both in a single visit.

Not overly impressed. Prices were higher than competition but they were able to get out sooner so I gave them a try. Communication started off great. Notified me when they were on their way, when they arrived, and while they were on site performing their work. Where are things begin to feel slimy was how they refused to share any photos or real documentation about the needed repairs which were up over $3000.

Eberle Septic came out same day to try to fix the issue. After troubleshooting and offered a couple of suggestions to fix the issue. Eberle was great to work with and wasn’t pushy about repairs. Looking forward to getting the parts in and everything back up and running.

Be careful with this company, had them come out to pump out my septic tank. The guy told us it was a 1500 gallon septic tank. Charged us $500 and he told us he pumped out 800 gallons. Seemed suspicious as the septic was still more than 3/4 full and he only pumped for about 5 minutes. We weren’t convinced so we had another company come out and they told us our septic was 750 gallons and they pumped it all out and cleaned it/washed it out for cheaper. We tried calling them back, guy got mad at us and hung up. We tried calling again and they won’t answer now.

    Response from the owner

We did not scam you. Our team came out on a Sunday, last minute, and explained the limited gallons included in the service, which you agreed to in advance. Your septic tank was overflowing and not within normal operating limits. You first stated the tank was 500 gallons, and later claimed it was 750 gallons, which was incorrect and created confusion regarding the service needed. During the service, there was continuous water entering the tank, your system was flooded with rainwater, and there were multiple entry points allowing additional water to flow in. These conditions made it impossible to properly control tank levels and contributed to the overflow issues you were experiencing. The only issue arose when we declined to perform additional services at no charge. We take pride in operating with honesty and integrity, and we always provide transparent service to all our customers. Eberle Septic

Chad knows his business and knows his work and gets the job well done. He is very punctual and attentive to his work. Also, very clean. Will be using him in the future.

From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.

Customer reviews point to fast response and clear communication. Daniel writes that when his septic failed on a Sunday, Chad answered on the first ring and was "at my residence within an hour." Other reviewers name Chad too and describe punctual, clean work, same-day troubleshooting and explanations without pressure to approve repairs.

Before You Call

If a closing date is driving the timeline, the decision is whether to bundle the septic inspection with a pump-out, and Eberle Septic offers both. Ask whether the crew can fit the inspection into the same visit or the same week.
