About Anderson Bros Sanitation & Excavating Inc

From the website of Anderson Bros Sanitation & Excavating Inc, read 15 Sept 2026. It describes what the company says it offers, not independent verification.

Anderson Bros Sanitation & Excavating Inc handles new septic installations, septic inspections and emergency service for homeowners in the Lower Connecticut River Valley. When an old system gives out, the company puts in a state-approved replacement and says it does what is needed to keep the house up and running while the work happens. The inspections serve real estate transactions, and the emergency option matters most when a system fails without warning.

Septic Services in this area

Quoted from the website of Anderson Bros Sanitation & Excavating Inc, read 15 Sept 2026.

Pumping at Anderson Bros follows a set method rather than a quick hose-out. The crew locates the tank first, working from measurements the town hall provides or from flushable locating devices, then cleans the tank, replaces the filter and files a detailed report with the town. Power jetting and hand-snaking clear the sewer line, an HD camera can look inside it, and every cleaning includes a visual inspection of the tank itself.

We just had to replace our entire septic system and Anderson Bros. did an exceptional job. We had worked with them before and knew they were who we wanted to do this design and install. Every person on their crew was friendly, helpful, answered questions, and obviously took pride in doing a great job. Communication with both the crew and their office was prompt and responsive. If you're lucky, you never have to replace your home's septic system. But if you do, Anderson Bros. is the company to hire.

    Response from the owner

Thank you Paula for the kind words!

Vinnie , Nick and the team were excellent to work with this month as I needed an entire new septic system. They were honest, reliable, and communicated with me at every stage, meeting their targeted timeline . They did their best to be cost effective, saving me thousands of dollars over the initial quote. I've been a routine customer for over 30 years and they have always been excellent to work with. I highly recommend Anderson Bros Sanitation and Excavating Inc for routine maintenance or to anyone who needs a new system, although I hope you don't need one anytime soon.

I was so impressed with the two gentlemen that came to my house (Joe and Jose I believe). They worked (sweating like crazy)until they found the correct place, unlike the two who had come the week before who couldn't find the right place and really didn't try very hard to find it. Those two just said, oh well, you'll need the flushable transmitter for 300 $. They never even tried to dig a hole. On the other hand, Joe and Jose dug just two holes and found the tank and proceeded to clean out the septic system.! They were courteous and professional and explained everything.

    Response from the owner

Thank you for the fantastic review and for taking the time to recognize Joe and Jose. I’m sorry to hear about your earlier unsatisfactory visit, but glad Joe and Jose persisted, found the tank, and completed the service professionally. We’ll be sure to pass your five-star praise along to them. We appreciate your trust and look forward to serving you again.

Paula and Dan both describe full system replacements handled from design to install, while pump-out customers single out Jose and Joe for tracking down a buried tank and leaving the grass and driveway unmarked.

Before You Call

With an aging system, the big call is whether another pump-out buys a few more years or a replacement is due. Anderson Bros handles both answers, pumping tanks and building new systems, so one call covers whichever way it goes. If a replacement looks likely, ask how they keep the house running while the yard is open.
