Not many people in trades still do their job correctly. Matt and Caleb did the job right, no gimmicks.

I had a septic issue. The tank was full and starting to back up in my house. I had two septic technicians come out both of them within 10 minutes told me I needed a $20,000 drainfield. I was very skeptical. They didn’t do any assessment or diagnostic just saw an opportunity to make a big profit . I was referred to Matt. Immediately he assessed the situation, explained everything took his time understanding the problem. It turns out I did not need a drainfield. I did need a significant Repair. But it was half the price of what the other technicians were pricing me.

Finding an honest & reliable septic company is tough, but Action Septic is just that. This family-owned business truly stands out because Matt and his son Caleb handle the work personally. Matt came out to diagnose our system, provided a fair estimate, and completed the actual repairs himself. His experience was obvious as he clearly explained the issues without any high-pressure upsells. It is refreshing to work with a team that prioritizes integrity and quality workmanship. Caleb was incredibly polite and worked hard alongside his dad to get everything done right.

From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.

Matt and his son Caleb handle the work themselves, and reviewer after reviewer names the two of them. Customers describe Matt coming out to diagnose a failing system, explaining what he found in plain terms, and doing the repair himself rather than handing it off. When one household's tank was full and starting to back up into the house, they say Matt took the time to find the real cause, and it turned out a repair would do instead of a full drain field replacement. The jobs described range from drain field repair to getting an old tank and drain field running smooth again, with one customer noting an access cover added so future service needs no digging. Carter, whose tank and main line failed, says Matt was quick to respond and walked him through every step. Ed kept it short, saying Matt and Caleb "did the job right, no gimmicks."

Around Alpharetta, the main drain-field limit is slow water movement: water leaves the soil too slowly for a conventional field to keep up. Site conditions on any one lot can differ from the map. See the Alpharetta city page for the full soil profile.
