Being 800 miles away created challenges to get my septic problems solved. After calling several septic companies, I chose Weavers. Am extremely happy with level of service I received. Office staff answered all questions and the crew that did the install was wonderful. Would recommend Weavers for any septic problems you may have.

We chose Weaver’s on a referral from my nephew who drills wells in and around the valley. We have a cabin between Creede and Lake City that we found may have sewer issues. They were very prompt in coming up to evaluate and pump the septic. Upon pumping it and camera scoping the tank, we discovered that the tank would probably collapse eventually. We made the choice to replace the system knowing the possibility of having to have it engineered.

Ok hands down best septic company in the valley. From the owner answering the phone after hours taking the time to figure out what we needed to do for our frozen septic and charging a fair price, not cheap but fair. Then Jabez and crew showing up Friday afternoon and pumping out the tank and thawing our frozen pipe we could not be happier. So if you are in need call this local owned and operated company. You will not be disappointed. We are truly grateful for the professional and excellent service. Thank you!

They installed my system even knowing I was offgrid solar. Then when I started having issues with their substandard system, they brought up about how I was on solar. Uh yeah, you knew that when you installed your $16k system using 50 year old data, claiming I had water at 32” even though everyone in the valley knows that the valley water tables have changed substantially in 50 years. I will never ask them to pump my septic, I will go to their competition as I can’t do business with unethical people.

    Response from the owner

We are sorry you are experiencing troubles with your system. To clarify, you contracted directly with an engineering firm for a design, which was approved by the county as meeting regulation for the soils on your site. We did not design or specify which type of system was needed. You provided the design plans to us. Our contract did state that after signing, the customer could cancel the project at any time and we would charge the greater of 5% of the estimate or services rendered and refund the down payment. Installation was completed and approved by the county and engineering firm in 2020. We did not hear from you again until March 2023, at which point you stated you had been having operational problems. We performed a site visit and found liquid inside the external splice box where power enters the septic tank for the pump. Turning power on showed the breaker was tripping because of the water. We were able to dry out the splice box and get the pump unit running. Liquid can enter the splice box if the tank overfills because the pump has not activated. You had a solar panel going to an inverter dedicated to the pump and 1 electrical fence, so the pump did have an automatic power supply as long as sufficient power was produced for both the pump and fence, but it did not have a battery, so if the pump needed to cycle over night or when the panel could not otherwise activate the pump, the tank overfilled. Installation of a battery for the septic pump may help. While our crew was onsite to troubleshoot, we were informed a water softener system had been installed and recommended it be connected to a french drain, so it does not discharge into the septic, as the backwash brine can reduce the capacity of the soil treatment area to treat the effluent. Please let us know if we can help further.

Several reviewers describe crews handling septic installation, pumping and frozen-line work. Mary recalls prompt evaluation, pumping and camera inspection before a replacement, while Juli says the crew pumped her tank and thawed a frozen pipe.
