About Stanley's Septic & Construction

From the website of Stanley's Septic & Construction, read 15 Sept 2026. It describes what the company says it offers, not independent verification.

Stanley's Septic & Construction pumps and cleans septic tanks in Fairfield, and also installs new septic systems, handling repair, inspections and maintenance along the way. That makes them one call for both ends of the work, from the routine cleanout a tank eventually needs to a whole system installed new.

Septic Services in Fairfield

Quoted from the website of Stanley's Septic & Construction, read 15 Sept 2026.

Regular pumping and cleaning keep a system working and repairs few, and the company pairs that maintenance with its installation and repair side. For new installations, the ground itself matters: drain fields rate very limited on 99.2% of rated ground around Fairfield, most often because the water table sits too high, a limit on 76.1% of it. A high water table leaves a drain field less soil to work in, so what a specific lot shows shapes where a new system can go.

Awesome service from the two guys who came by! On time, super quick work with pumping the tank & checking the pump out, informative about the system. Answered any questions I had as well. Honestly it came out to be much cheaper than I was expecting, too! Will do business with again in the future! Thank you!

Extremely rude receptionist. I called to inquire about a new septic lid and she told me to take my business to Gagne & Sons because “I can do it myself for the same price they would do it.” So needless to say, I can only assume they don’t want business no matter how small the job.

    Response from the owner

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Heather. We're sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Interactions like the one you described are not what we strive for, and your comments will be taken seriously as we continue to work on providing respectful and helpful service to all who contact us.

I'm very happy with the service we received from them today. My other septic company that I used to think was so good and my opinion has drastically changed about that. When they showed up the septic was already dug up and then they told us that there was another lid or two behind that and one of them has a filter in it that needs to be cleaned out also. Never once did my other septic guy ever do that. I'm very happy with Stanley's price and the gentleman were very nice, explained everything to me. I highly recommend them😊

So back in 2019 my wife and I purchased our first home together. We were told that we had to redo the septic system and that we needed a whole new system put in, I at the time was working a lot of hours so my wife is making calls to help fix up the house when we first moved in. Most of the businesses and people she talk to were extremely friendly and helpful until she called Stanley's. The receptionist was very rude. Whoever picked up the phone and told her that they would only speak to her husband, And then hung up on her. Upon hearing this news I refuse to do business with them.

From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.

Five-star reviewers describe pumping visits where the crew showed up on time, answered questions and covered the tank back up when the job was done. Joseph reports "super quick work with pumping the tank" along with a pump check in the same visit, and Jean credits the crew with finding extra lids and a filter her previous septic company never dealt with. Others mention how fast the tank cap was located and dug out in snowy weather, and one family credits the crew with bringing a system back that they had given up on.

Before You Call

When drains slow or the last pump-out is years behind, a call settles whether pumping is enough or whether repair should come first. Anyone weighing a whole new system can ask what an inspection turns up before deciding, since Stanley's offers inspections and installation together.
