I cannot give Jason and his company; Small Town Septic enough Stars for their professional service, their honesty, their efficiency and their compassion and empathy. I bought a house eight months ago and as a single mom with my children and trying to take care of My Mother as well found myself in a very tight situation with my septic system. After making multiple calls to find out what the problem was or who could fix it for me, I finally was put in touch with Small Town Septic and the owner; Jason Lechance.

Jason was very professional, called him and he was able to come over the same day. I will definitely use this business again.

I had a wonderful experience! I can't say enough good things about them. I had them take care of our septic issue and the customer service was great, they always called back quickly. Both Jason and Jodie were great to work with. Overall 10 out of 10 experience, I fully recommend!

Unprofessional-installed candy cane vent in center of backyard without talking to me and when I asked about it (I did not realize job was complete and vent was permanent), I was told they could quote moving it. UPDATE: Jason reached out and we worked through the misunderstanding.

    Response from the owner

Thank you very much Marie. Things can be difficult when we are paid by the seller and install according to the seller’s plan, yet the new homeowner is unhappy with the plan. We are here if you decide to move that vent in the future. Thank you!

From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.

Jason owns the company and is named in nearly every account, with Jodie handling the office. Bridget describes buying a house eight months earlier and being helped through a septic problem as a single parent, with the compassion of the response mattering as much as the work. One account shows what happened when something went wrong. Marie describes a vent installed in the middle of her garden without discussion, and an update saying Jason got in touch and the two of them worked it through.

Before You Call

Where the vents and access points end up is a decision worth making before the machine arrives, not after. Ask to see the layout on paper before the work starts.
