    While they may be fine for basic plumbing, avoid this branch of Roto-Rooter for any water damage or restoration needs. When water backed up into my finished basement, their team assured me they would handle everything, including moving items and extracting water from the carpet to prevent mold. Instead, they worked for only 15 to 20 minutes, left the furniture and items completely in place, and left the carpet soaking wet. They did none of the work promised, yet they still billed me nearly $2,000 for a service that resolved nothing.

    Elon, with Roto Rooter from Champaign, Illinois … arrived super fast and had an accurate estimate for me within minutes and had a very difficult issue taken care of and complete, in only 1/4 of the time quoted by another company !I will from now on request Elon, from Roto Rooter… for ALL of my plumbing needs. He is friendly, polite, extremely versed in his career field and beyond professional. I could not have asked for better service all around !! Sincere thanks, Elon !

    I do not recommend this company for emergency water-damage response. What should have been an urgent situation turned into a process that dragged on for several days, with poor communication and repeated scheduling issues. I was told the job would take approximately one to two days, but it remained partially completed while appointments and completion dates continued to be pushed back. Technicians missed scheduled arrival times, and on one occasion arrived without calling ahead while I was away at work.

    As a first time homebuyer, hands down the best service I have received! Blaine, the technician was absolutely amazing. He took time to throughly explain what was going on and even explain preventative care. He deserves a big raise!!!

    We had a total re-routing of our sewer line. We were fit in to a busy schedule. Which was very appreciated. All the guys were great. Very professional and curtious. The only thing we weren’t completely satisfied with was the concrete work. It’s very rocky and bumpy. Definitely not a professional finish! Also, we are still waiting for an electrician to finish the job.

Reviews of the drain and sewer work describe a crew that moved quickly. Amber said Roto-Rooter diagnosed and "quickly fixed a clog" in a pipe. Dawn had a sewer line fully re-routed, and the crew fit that job into a busy schedule. Dawn called the crew great but was not satisfied with the concrete work afterward, which came out rocky and bumpy. An electrician had also not yet finished the job. That is one customer's experience of the finish on a larger project.
