About Plumbing Geeks

From the website of Plumbing Geeks, read 15 Sept 2026. It describes what the company says it offers, not independent verification.

Plumbing Geeks uses hydro-jetting for drain cleaning. The company says choosing the right method matters because high-pressure jetting can damage a fragile cast-iron line.

Hydro-Jetting
Using the wrong tool makes the problem worse: a hand auger on a grease clog pushes it further; hydro-jetting on a fragile cast-iron line can breach it.

Before You Call

Hydro-jetting may suit some drain clogs, while fragile cast-iron lines call for caution. Homeowners can ask how the crew will assess the pipe before choosing that method.
