    Andrew Owens of Owens & Son’s Inc. fixed our septic drain field and saved us a boatload of money. Our septic drain field stopped working properly and caused a surface seep of septic discharge. The blockage in the drain field was so bad it raised the septic tank level a foot or two above where is should be. Our septic system is 35 years old. The first person we called to analyze the problem said our drain field was saturated and beyond repair. A new drain field costing $30,000 or more would be required. Seeking a second opinion, we called in Andrew Owens.

    We trusted this company on good word from our realtor to pump our septic, the pumping was good but when we hired them for a inspection we go a over 8 thousand dollar quote for a “failed pump and leach field” after another look the leach field was fine and the “failed pump” was a tripped breaker. Definitely get a second inspection after to save the stress and panic of need a new septic to simply checking a breaker

    Dear Alec, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sincerely sorry to hear about your negative experience. We have been monitoring your system and your pump issue for approximately one year. Your system has been functioning by syphoning through your pump with high water levels. During our last visit to provide an estimate for repairs per your request we pulled your pump and floats , checked functionality, checked your breakers and confirmed the failure of the pump. Upon leaving we made sure your breakers were turned off to your pump unit, because nothing was working. I recommend monitoring your water levels in your tank after turning your breaker back on. Any feedback you provide is always valuable and we would appreciate the opportunity to hear what another professional has found if we had missed something beyond tripped breakers.     Excellent service at a reasonable price. Owen & Son's Plumbing performed a septic tank pumping along with an inspection. Owner took the time to explain the needs and provide options for our situation. I would absolutely use this company again.
