I purchased a new aerator from Norwalk last fall. It stopped working and Norwalk stated it was still under warranty. They took the aerator 3 months ago and I still do not have it returned. They wont send it into Norweco until they have 17 aerators to sebnd in. I suppose if I purchased another plan they take care of me. They made me pay $10 to have a replacement put in. I'd suggest not to purchase an aerator from them. There are other services to use.
Response from the owner
Thanks for your input Mr. Burns. Yes, your aerator stopped working on 4-23-26. Too long ago, but not the 3 month you recall. The manufacturer of the aerator is Norweco Inc. of Norwalk, OH. All warranty aerators are shipped to their one location in Ohio. Norweco conducts all of their own warranty repairs and they alone set the procedure we must follow to send in their aerators for repairs. Recently, they changed their distributors warranty procedure. They require that we ship a minimum of 17 aerators for repair. They will not accept a lesser amount. That is why we offer a rental aerator to warranty customers. We only charge you a flat fee of $10.00 for the rental. So even if it takes months you still only pay the $10.00. Basically you are being able to use our aerator for as long as it takes for the $10.00 fee If you paid more money or sourced a different service provider, the manufacturer still will not accept a lesser quantity of aerators shipped for repair. I feel your pain. I trust you understand that it is in our best interest to get your unit back to you as quickly as possible as well. Cliff Scholp General Manager Norwalk Tank Company
