Response from the owner

Erwin, we’re sorry that you remain dissatisfied with your experience. We also want to clarify that we are not disputing that you were a customer of Mr. Rooter of Peoria. During our service, our technician performed a camera inspection, explained the conditions observed in the drain line, and presented the recommended work based on those findings. We understand that another company subsequently cleared roots from the line and that this led you to question whether the work we performed was necessary. Since you raised those concerns, our team has been in communication with you, and management has reviewed the situation. We also issued a refund, which you have received. We regret that, despite our efforts to address your concerns, you remain unhappy with the service and the resolution provided. We understand you disagree with our assessment of the line's original condition. We respect your right to share that perspective, but we stand by the recommendations presented at the time, which were based on the conditions our technician observed during the camera inspection. Response from the owner

Susan, we’re sorry to hear how distressed and frustrated you remain following this project. We understand that a significant sewer repair is a major financial undertaking, and we take your concerns about the cost and communication seriously. As the extent of the sewer line issues became apparent during the work, additional repairs were identified, and the work performed was authorized as the project progressed. We regret, however, that you were left feeling unprepared for the ultimate cost of the project and dissatisfied with how the changing scope and pricing were communicated. We would also like to clarify that the recent appointment notification you received was not for a new repair or an additional charge. The visit was scheduled as part of the work already completed to level and grade the yard, after the soil had time to settle and excess dirt was removed. We welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly, review any questions you still have regarding the project and billing, and discuss your concerns further. Your Mr. Rooter Management Team
