Response from the owner

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. First and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you experienced. After reviewing your concerns, it is clear that we fell short of the level of service we strive to provide. The employee who responded to your property that day is no longer employed by Mountain Valley Pumping. While that does not change your experience, I want you to know that the information provided to you regarding the condition of your system and the necessity of accessing and cleaning the filter was not consistent with our company's standards or expectations. We understand the importance of properly inspecting and servicing all components of a septic system, especially when a customer specifically requests that work. Based on the information you provided, it appears that the filter access was ultimately located without significant difficulty and that the filter did, in fact, require cleaning. Had you followed the advice you were given, it could have resulted in unnecessary problems for your system, and for that I am truly sorry. I am also disappointed to hear that you felt pressured and that the job was left incomplete. That is not how we conduct business, and it certainly is not the experience we want any customer to have. We appreciate your feedback because it helps us improve. While we cannot change what happened, we have addressed the personnel issue and remain committed to providing professional, thorough, and respectful service to our customers. Thank you
