Maciel & Son's, Inc in Vineyard Haven, MA

Absolute gauging. Had a septic overflow. Came and pumped it. Charged $4275. Of that $590 was for locating and digging even though I showed them where it was. Charged me for an extra hose at $315 (no extra hose was needed). Charged me $780 to pour 2 gallons of Aid-Ox in (retails online for $58.99/gallon. These people have a reputation of gauging and it is ABSOLUTELY TRUE! Do not use these thieves!

Had an emergency and called about 20 different places. Most went to voicemail and few called me back. Maciel and Sons answered right away, very friendly on the phone and got someone over with a couple of hours to fix the issue. Really happy with service!

Woke up this morning with a backed up septic system, and a mess along with it. I called Troy and he told me he would be out as soon as he finished with another emergency call. He and his crew showed up within a couple of hours and pumped my tank, water jetted my lines and performed a full camera inspection on my system. Luckily my system was sound and only needed a pump out and a new filter. I was back up and running in no time. He and his crew were professional from start to finish. I would recommend Maciel & Son's to anyone in need of an honest, professional, septic service or inspection.
