In July of 2023 Steve and his crew installed our new septic system. The work was done on time, within budget, and to our entire satisfaction. Recently, we had a problem with the septic. I called Steve, and the next day he was fixing the problem!! Even after 3 years he still wanted to make sure we were satisfied. There was NO Charge to us. It is so refreshing to deal with someone who takes pride in his work. I would highly recommend Steve and Landex Earthworks to anyone who needs their services.

    Response from the owner

We highly recommend Landex Earthworks Ltd.! After experiencing ongoing basement leaks in an addition that had been built onto our home years ago, we hired Landex Earthworks to correct the problem. Steve and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough from start to finish. They repaired the foundation cracks, installed new weeping tile, regraded our backyard to properly direct water away from the foundation, and restored the landscaping once the job was complete. Their attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right were evident every step of the way.

    Response from the owner

We really appreciate you taking the time to share this. It’s great to hear we could resolve your foundation issues and that you were happy with our team's work, especially staying on schedule. We're proud to deliver thorough solutions.

I sent a message yesterday looking for some River rock to be delivered and attached a little video of the space I wanted covered. Steve responded within minutes confirming he could definitely help and when did we want it delivered🙂 Honestly this is what Service is all about. A business owner who fulfills his clients requests and knows exactly the right amount of product. To have Steve deliver to us today was a great way to meet new clients. He isn't hard on the eyes also😂. If you are looking for a reliable business, I highly recommend Landex Earthworks Ltd. 👏

I recently hired Landex Earthworks (owner - Steve Gingras) for a major project on my 87-year-old home, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the very beginning, Steve went above and beyond, assisting me weeks before the job started with navigating the city's permit process. Initially, the plan was to excavate just one wall and replace a retaining wall, but as is often the case with older homes, surprises awaited. In my case, there was no existing weeping tile! Steve and his team acted swiftly, devising a practical solution that kept the cost of the unexpected work to a minimum.

    Response from the owner

Without our customers, we wouldn’t be in business! So it means a lot that you would choose to review us. We appreciate it!

From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.

Customers describe Landex Earthworks as a crew that handles septic installation, foundation drainage and general excavation. Bruce had a new septic system installed in July 2023. When a problem came up three years later, Steve came out the next day to fix it. Other reviews describe weeping tile, backyard regrading and waterproofing work. One customer says the crew often arrived before 7 am, and several mention jobs finishing on schedule. Shane called Steve's knowledge of "excavation, waterproofing and drainage" a help on two jobs.
