About Ken Van Wyk land Improvement

From the website of Ken Van Wyk land Improvement, read 15 Sept 2026. It describes what the company says it offers, not independent verification.

Ken Van Wyk Land Improvements installs septic systems in Woodcliff Lake, and their site says the same crew takes on demolition, residential and commercial excavation, rock wall installation, and everything from land clearing to site grading. That mix matters on a septic job, where the ground usually needs clearing and shaping before the tank ever arrives. One crew handling the whole sequence can spare a homeowner the job of coordinating a different contractor for every stage.

Ken and his crew did an outstanding job removing our above-ground pool and restoring the backyard. The entire project was completed in a single day, and the property was left clean and neatly graded. Throughout the process, Ken was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He explained everything clearly, showed up when he said he would, and completed the work exactly as promised. We were very impressed with the care taken to protect our driveway and property during the project. The final result exceeded our expectations.

We discovered not 1, but 2 abandoned septic tanks in our yard (no town records either). We used Ken’s company, they were great. We’d use them again. Highly recommend. From start to finish, Ken was available to answer all of our questions and concerns, promptly responding to our messages. He explained everything clearly, and he was upfront about the price (affordable). Ken made the whole process simple and stress-free. It was a one day job, and his company made sure it was done right - safe and solid.

    Response from the owner

Thank you so much, I really appreciate the kind words. It was a pleasure helping you out and making sure everything was done the right way. Glad we could make the process simple and stress-free for you. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever need anything in the future.

Ken and his team were amazing from start to finish. We had a major sewer line issue and they handled everything quickly and professionally. They diagnosed the problem, explained everything clearly, and got the system fully repaired so we could use our bathrooms and showers again without any issues. They also went above and beyond by removing our old broken concrete patio and improving the backyard, leaving everything in much better shape than before. Great communication, honest work, and very reliable. Highly recommend them to anyone needing excavation or sewer work.

    Response from the owner

Tyler, really appreciate you taking the time to write this. Glad we could get everything handled quickly and get your sewer line back up and running without any issues. It was a pleasure working with you and improving the backyard as well. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever need anything in the future!

Before You Call

A new system sometimes shares the yard with something that has to go first, whether that is an old pool, a cracked patio or a structure at the end of its life. Ken Van Wyk Land Improvements takes on demolition alongside septic system installation, so one phone call can settle the order of work. Ask how the tear-out and the new field would be scheduled if both land on your project.
