We bought a house that was 13 years old and pretty sure the septic was never pumped so we got quotes all around. This company was chosen because when giving me a quote, the lady I spoke with offered cost effective natural ways to keep the septic healthy and stated they would open the septic up and show the homeowner everything about their system, let them know the cost and if we had chosen not to use them they would just close everything up and wish us a good day no harm no foul. He came out and went over everything about our system as promised and gave a specific quote that was very fair.

This man is the biggest con man I have ever met and I feel sorry for anyone who let's him do work for them.

    Response from the owner

We have no record of ever doing business with a Johnathan Chaney but feel free to call our office and we would be happy to address any issues or concerns

This is a small local business (husband and wife team) who do great and timely work. They came out to my property to empty the septic tank and they did a fantastic job and charged less than other services. They also gave me a review of my system and said that it was in great shape and needed no additional work. This speaks to their honesty and fairness, as I had no way of knowing the state of my 20 year old system. I also asked them to check out a leaking outdoor pipe and they gave me an immediate quote on that fix.

I have never had a septic tank pumped before and did not know what to expect. I called freedom septic and talked to Bo. He informed me it would be $300 for the pumping. I agreed and informed him I wouldn’t be home from work until 5:00. He said him and his wife could be there at 5:30. So I would not have to rush home.they arrived on the dot I did not know exactly where my septic tank was, but he found it in a matter of minutes. Pumped my tank and was done. It was amazing to watch.

    Response from the owner

Thank you George for giving us the oppertunity to work with you, it was such a pleasure!

From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.

Most of the reviews are about pump-outs. Customers say the crew opened the tank, went over the state of the system, and explained how to keep it healthy afterward. Scomo also asked them to check a leaking outdoor pipe. Several reviewers point to timing and a small husband-and-wife team. George could not be home until 5:00 PM, and "they arrived on the dot" at 5:30. One customer, Stacey, was unhappy with a pump-out visit.
