Kevin and his team were kind, professional and extremely efficient at digging, locating and accessing our unmarked below ground tank for maintenance service at our mountain cabin (1980s constructed septic tank system). Competitively priced. We recommend them highly!

3 years ago we requested Foothill Septic to come pump the tanks and perform an inspection before we moved into our home. The company was prompt and on time, as well as able to communicate well with the report they made. They noted that the tank was performing properly. This last week I started noticing we were having some issues with draining. My husband went outside to check the septic and found it was clogged 🤯. Foothill was able to respond within 24 hours and diagnosed the problem. Our pump and two floaters had gone out.

I am a local resident of Copperopolis, and I hired this company in April 2023 to inspect my septic system. The service included pumping the septic tank and performing an integrity test on the leach field because we were considering selling our home and wanted the system certified. Looking back, I realize that having the inspection performed during the rainy season may not have been the best decision. During the inspection, the technician told me that the leach field was not absorbing water properly and claimed that water surfacing on parts of my property was septic effluent.

I have been using Foothill Sanitary for 13 years and verry satisfied with their service. Haven't had an inspection done in about 4 years. Kevin is verry professional and advised me of things that I could inspect to help improve the overall system. Good honest company.

Most homeowners describe straightforward visits for tank pumping, uncovering buried access lids, and resolving drain problems. Technicians including Kevin and Josh locate unmarked tanks, diagnose mechanical issues, and pump out systems on site. Crews respond promptly to urgent breakdowns, with Trevor noting that staff worked to "get us help right away" after a sewer pump quit. Septic system inspections bring more mixed experiences. One customer, Baron, reported that a wet-weather inspection diagnosed a leach field failure that he disputed, and stated that office staff dismissed his concerns.
