  1. James

    September 2026

Friendly people, however… no mention of pricing until my technician arrives to my house. He said in his first 30 seconds, this is all it is… a little hose came off my pump. He said the cost was $125 for him being there even if it only took a minute and I had him for 1 hour regardless . So, I asked him to move a septic head 2 feet and if I needed to call that in for another day, he said no problem. I was under the impression I was going to be billed the $125.00 however, received a $340.00 apparently it’s $175 for him to come and an additional $125 plus $40 for the septic head.

    Response from the owner

James, thank you for sharing this. I'm sorry we didn’t clearly explain our pricing and minimum service charges before the technician arrived. I understand how receiving a $340 bill after expecting $125 would feel frustrating, especially for a quick fix and a small additional request like moving the septic head. If you’re willing, please reach out to our office with the invoice details so we can review what was charged, explain the breakdown, and see if anything needs to be made right.

The lady that you sent out yesterday was terrific, she explained what she was doing and why, offered tips to help our system. Trip charge was $175, that was applied to bill, which was $200 total. She is a great asset to your company, thank you!

    Response from the owner

Donna, thank you so much for taking the time to share this. I’m really glad our technician explained everything clearly, gave you helpful tips for your system, and that the trip charge being applied made the total feel fair. We truly appreciate your kind words and your trust in First Choice Septic.
