We had Elk Septic & Excavation install a very large grease trap at a cost in excess of $20k. During the installation, they hit a electrical line which powered a sign by the road which is now non-operational. It clearly shows the while digging up the old tank, that the line was damaged. The owner of the company has stated that they did not do the damage (it is obvious as the electrical line was buried 17" deeper where it was hit during excavation) and has refused to pay for the damages. I reached out to the company to speak with the owner again on Friday and have not had a response to date.

I have used this guy for several projects on my farm and my family property. Always responded. Always on time and beats the no call back competition on price and quality.

    Response from the owner

We appreciate the review. Looking forward to the next project.

Most reviews describe the owner or staff taking the time to answer questions and explain how the septic systems work. Cel says the company listened to her septic issues, asked necessary questions, and showed respect for her property. Emily says Sidney took on a job to fix an excavated basement with heavy water intrusion by working with her engineer to install a seven-drain French drain system. Celeste says she got an appointment the next day when others would not answer the phone, and the owner helped her understand the system. Cody says the septic was located and pumped without a hitch.
