Discount Cesspool & Drain Inc. in Islandia, NY
About Discount Cesspool & Drain Inc.
From the website of Discount Cesspool & Drain Inc., read 15 Sept 2026. It describes what the company says it offers, not independent verification.
Discount Cesspool and Drain covers Suffolk and Nassau County on cesspool service, drain cleaning, septic pumping and new installations. Installation is handled end to end, from the permits through to the inspection. The company is plain about what pumping actually removes. Sludge and scum build up inside a tank over time, and taking them out is the whole of the job.

Google Reviews
From the Google listing, checked 30 Aug 2026.
Out of hours attendance runs through these accounts and the crews are named. Thomas describes a Sunday night emergency where the 24 hour line was answered immediately, and Ryan describes a call at half past three answered by Alex and Brian at half past eight that evening. All thirty ratings sit at four or above, and awkward access appears more than once. Bridget describes a cesspool under a deck next to a tree stump located and dealt with by Dominick and his crew. One account is worth reading carefully. Humpty's text is a rewritten version of an earlier review rather than a fresh account, which is a reminder that a review record holds whatever people choose to post.

Local Ground
Around Islandia, the main drain-field limit is bottom-layer seepage: water moves through the soil too fast to treat effluent before it reaches groundwater. Site conditions on any one lot can differ from the map. See the Islandia city page for the full soil profile.
