First timer with Chris….leak underground in main H2O line incoming from street. Fair price, communicated plan/progress updates, efficient, cared well for our lawn while moving excavator, seemed to lead his crew well….high quality fix. Wide variety of services offered so will likely utilize again for various yard drainage projects.

We had reached out to CS Gruter Excavating for two projects. Both gravel driveways with one being a long drive that had been neglected for a few years which ends in a circle on front of house (see before and after photos). The other drive was on a separate property that needed to be leveled and refreshed with gravel and had a loop or half-circle that needed to be brought back into service (no pictures avail). Chris did a great job restoring both driveways and made the circle part of both drives look great.

The sump drain line terminated several feet from the house with a one way valve on the surface. The result was a mudhole in the yard. Chris offered a simple solution, extend the drain line to the roadway ditch. He seemed quite knowledgeable of both technical and regulatory requirements. He was forthright with costs and schedule. The system appears to work. I would recommend him for projects.
