When the main water line from the city meter to our home started leaking I contacted 7 plumbers. Three called back. One couldn’t come for 1.5 weeks; another was too expensive. Craig’s Quality Plumbing analyzed the problem, was fairly priced and showed up the next day with a crew of 5 people. The problem was solved. I recommend Craig’s Quality Plumbing for any job.

We're older and these men came into our home and treated us extremely well. The disposal was clogged and the repair was handled in a professional manner. We were impressed enough to have asked for a quote on additional work. Would definitely recommend this company

Everyone associated with this family owned business was exceptional to work with. From prompt return of messages, to updates of the work in progress. I highly recommend Craig and his business for any and all you plumbing needs. Our project was major. A regrading of our sewer connection line and the elimination of a decade old belly. Not knowing what to expect when they got below the ground (5ft) they dealt with all the challenges in a professional and informative way.

Response from the owner

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review! We truly appreciate your kind words about Craig and the entire team. We’re glad we could help correct the issues with your sewer connection and eliminate that long-standing belly in the line.

Had such a great experience with Craig helping us with our main water line that when our hose bib needed replacing we called Craig's without hesitation. They came out that day and replaced it. The next day I went in our basement and found a section of our carpet wet from the pipe that they had pulled out of our ceiling. They didn't bother to tell us that water had spilled. We had to move some things out of that room to pull up the carpet to get it dry. That is not where it ends unfortunately.

Local Ground

Around Smithfield, the main drain-field limit is bottom-layer seepage: water moves through the soil too fast to treat effluent before it reaches groundwater. Site conditions on any one lot can differ from the map. See the Smithfield city page for the full soil profile.
