Thank you for the review and for the positive comments about Michael, he is a valued technician and takes pride in providing knowledgeable, professional service. To clarify for future readers, the timer itself was replaced under the manufacturer’s parts warranty, which was honored in full at no charge. Manufacturer warranties do not cover labor, travel time, fuel, vehicle wear, insurance, or employee wages. As the installing contractor and equipment wholesaler, we do not receive labor reimbursement from the manufacturer for warranty part failures. The service call fee covers dispatching a licensed technician, diagnostics, travel to the property, and time on site. This is standard practice across the septic, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing industries. In an effort to resolve this matter fairly, I personally left two voicemails for the customer to discuss the concern, but did not receive a return call. Despite the costs already incurred, the service call fee was ultimately refunded as a goodwill gesture. We take pride in our work, transparency, and customer service, which is reflected in our long history of 5-star reviews. Charging for labor allows us to continue operating responsibly and providing timely, professional service to our customers. We appreciate the feedback and wish you the best going forward.
